Ron Hall and Denver Moore

A couple of months ago I posted about the book SAME KIND OF DIFFERENT AS ME. This book has been incredibly popular in Fort Worth. Most of the book is set in the Fort Worth area and has been a huge benefit to the homeless in the metroplex. I encourage you again, if you have not read this book, put down whatever else you are reading and spend some time with this book. Each copy that is purchased helps the homeless. Also if you have the opportunity to go hear the two authors speak it will change your life. These two modern day heroes have had an amazing life experience to share. A movie deal has been set and more speaking engagements will occur. They are speaking all over the country. The book has been the best seeling book in Texas at Barnes and Noble for months. This book will give you the opportunity to see the Holy Spirit at work. It will give you the chance to see that even the most unimaginable person can have the greatest impact in this world. God is good.

Thanks goes to Ridglea Presbyterian Church, Como First Missionary Baptist Church Choir(awesome), Gage Yager and Zion Missionary Baptist Church as they organized an event on Sunday that blessed those in attendance and blessed the homeless as over $20K was raised for Habitat for Humanity and a Brush with Kindness.

I read that a few months ago. I ordered it even though I was reading a borrowed copy for the very reason you mentioned. I wanted to support the cause. It was both familiar and eye-opening. I have encouraged others to read it as well.

This is a great story of how God can use one person to bless many (of course, I cried a lot reading it)!
