Big changes for the Fisher family
The last month has been a bit crazy. The end of a school year is always eventful but this year we added on the stress of deciding about a job change. For the past couple of months I had been communicating with Abilene Christian Schools. After much prayer and counsel we have decided to take the position at ACS. I will be the President of the school. We are very excited. This will bring about some huge changes in our lives...
leaving Ft. Worth where my parents, my sister and Beth Ann's brother live
leaving Southwest Christian School, a place that we love full of people that we love even more
selling our home
buying a new home
leaving friends
finding a new church
new school for Riley and Owen
so many new things.
As we close out this chapter and begin the next one there will be some updates and thoughts about where we have been and where we are going.
Please pray for us through this process.

Well, we are excited! And as it relates to finding a church home, I am confident we can find work for you to do at Highland. Not only that, let me know if I can get a group together to help you get settled in your new home.

Proud of you and proud of ACS for making such a great hire. With Bailey at ACU next year and other nieces and nephews to follow, we may see you more than we do now! You are constantly in our prayers!

We're excited that you are moving to Abilene. Let us know how we can help once you get here. And like Val said, I think Highland would be an excellent choice. Maybe you can sing on the praise team with him!

The school is very fortunate to have such a good school man as you--things are looking up for them! I can't believe I will not be there too. But, as Brandon says, we will see you at all great occasions. Blessings as you do all the things necessary to come--remember where I lived last?--that is a good area to look. Very close to the school and nice homes. Love Miss Judy

Congrats Fish! I bet you and Beth Ann will enjoy living in "the big country" again. Hope the move goes smoothly. Maybe we will see you guys in October.

We are definitely going to miss seeing you on a daily basis! Thankfully I am out there so much that I will be able to stay close to you guys. Your friendship has meant so much to me this year, and I appreciate you sharing your experiences with me and my family. I'll book the room for TCEA 2008. You pickin' up what I'm throwin' down?
