Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip

I don't know if you watched this show on NBC this year. Most likely you did not. I don't believe the ratings for the show were what NBC wanted. Part way through the season it got pulled for another show. NBC did complete the season and ran the remaining episodes in May and June.
I am not much of a critic but I do know what I like. This show was one of the best things I have seen on t.v. in years. The cast was amazing. The writing was clever and funny. The stories were real and powerful. If you have not watched the season, I encourage you to do so. I was able to watch the last four episodes through the miracle of iTunes. Rent it when it comes out, download the season off iTunes. I really think you will love it.
Maybe NBC will hire me as a t.v. critic now...

I've got to back you up on this. Steph and I have a short tivo list, but this show was on it. The writing was great! This was a wonderful "TV skit" and we will miss it.
Unfortunately, network television has to play to the lowest common denomenator in our society to get the most advertising dollars. Art and creativity are out, "reality" TV and canned laughter are in. Music is not any different. Follow the almighty dollar my friend. That is what we worship, that is all that counts.
Can't you do something about this now that you're the President?

My husband & I LOVED this show too - great writing, even better characters! and we were both acting majors, so it had an added bonus of an "insider's look" at TV life for us.
Maybe we could all petition to get it back, like people did for 'Jericho'???

I saw several episodes - including the one with Sting (awesome). I really liked it...especially since I am a big fan of Matthew Perry (my Chandler Bing-a-Ling).
Congratulations on your new position in Abilene. God Bless you, Beth Ann and the kiddos!
