First Week in Abilene

I just completed my first week in my new position at Abilene Christian Schools. It was an interesting and busy week. The people are wonderful and going to be a blessing. I am trying to learn policy and procedures, the history of the school and how things have typically operated. Much more to learn.

I will be in Abilene during the weeks and in Ft. Worth on the weekends until the house sells. Please pray for that to happen soon. While in Abilene I am staying at Barret Dorm on the ACU campus. My life is full-circle as I am back experiencing dorm life again. It is actually a great situation as I have my own room and shower. I am the "old guy" staying with some college kids this summer. I know they are cracking up about that.

I am looking at houses while in Abilene during the weekdays. Trying to figure out what area to live in and what style house we want is exciting. It takes many hours to decide. We hope to get a place where we have room for our kids to play and space for many guests to come and stay with us in Abilene.
