Spiritual Emphasis Week
Each year we have Spiritual Emphasis Week at school. I am working on the particulars of that week right now. Our theme is "Let Your Light Shine". We will be looking at Matthew 5:16 "...let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your father in Heaven".
This is a week that we try to do special activities, chapels, etc. with the students. If anything comes to your mind on a good discussion point, activity or idea that you have please comment.

First of all, I can't believe the snow story from yesterday. That is so cool! I was convinced of Gods goodness too until Kentucky lost in freakin' double overtime. But, I'm not bitter.
Give me a call. I have a good light analogy for you, but it's too long for this format.

I don't know how old your students are but I was thinking just this week about how do we balance letting our light shine vs not doing our good deeds to be seen by man.
That might create some interesting discussion.
