Riley's songs

Riley is quite a songwriter. He gets inspired quite often and will break into song. One of the blessings in this is that he usually does this during the time we are reading his Bible verses for the day in the evening before bed, and the songs are usually heartfelt praises to his Lord. That's when you want to whip out the video camera every night! But from time to time his topics divert. Here's his latest beginning of a song about his daddy:

I can smell like Daddy,
I can climb like Daddy,
I can sit like Daddy.......

Imagine this in five year old tune...

He has really gotten into smelling like Craig here lately. He uses the same shower gel and on special occasions gets a "spray". I think the latest special occasion was the last day of school! I'm not real sure where climbing and sitting came from other than that Riley associates growing up with being able to clime bigger things.

Thank you God for blessing my man and my boy with a relationship so pure it makes the most vulnerable of the two want to sing about it. Interesting that the only two topics Riley has composed on are his relationships with his two fathers....
