We Are Marching Through DC

We hope you enjoyed the food blogging. The combo blog was fun as well. We will find other ridiculous topics to blog about in the future.

Today we are off to Washington DC. I have never been and Beth Ann has not been there since 7th grade. We are excited. We are going to represent SCS and experience how the company, Joshua Expeditions, organizes this trip for students. We will be doing a lot in a short amount of time. The itinerary is below:

Friday
Arrive in DC
Drive by the Pentagon- see the "scar" from 9/11
Lunch at Ronald Reagan International Trade Center
Whitehouse Exterior Photo Opportunity
Ford Theatre/ Peterson House
Arlington National Cemetery- Kennedy gravesites and Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier
Memorial Tour: Viet Nam, Lincoln, Korean
Picnic Dinner at The Awakening
WWII, Jefferson, FDR
Hotel
Devotions

Saturday
Breakfast at hotel
National Archives
Visit the U.S. Capitol and pray for our leaders
Library of Congress
Supreme Court self-guided tour
Lunch at the Longworth House Food Court
Museum of American History
Museum of Natural History
National Air/Space Museum
Dinner at Hamburger Hamlet

As you can see, we will be busy. This will be such a cool experience. The boys will be staying with my mom and dad. They will have so much fun with their grandparents.
