God's House

We were recently in Washington D.C. It was a great trip as I had never been there to experience the history before. One of the stops we made was at The White House. We had a photo opportunity in front of the White House. We were able to talk with some Secret Service.

While we were there we called Riley. Beth Ann told him that we were standing in front of George W. Bush's house. He thought that was neat and he innocently asked her if we were about to go in. Riley thought President Bush was going to come out to the front lawn and invite us in. She told him that we could not go in, that we were just there to look at it.

I wish, like Riley, the President Bush would have invited us in his house as well. However, I am thankful that God's House is always open to us. He is constantly inviting us in, no matter who we are, where we are from, what we look like, etc. We can always stop what we are doing and go and visit him. He wants us to. He invites us to. He has a feast for us. He door is always open.

Have a great day.
