The First Day of School

THE FIRST DAY OF KINDERGARTEN!!! Wow, I have a child old enough to be in school. He started off his day great. He was excited. He has a great teacher. His mom only cried a little. His brother will miss him. The Principal's kid is in kindergarten. Here we go...

WOW! Unreal--he cannot be that old. Where did it go??

You're right to say, "here we go!" I went to kindergarten where my dad was principal. The next year they sent me to another school! I think I actually told the teacher one day that she couldn't do anything to me or I'd tell my dad on her. Nice.

Yeah BST, I can see you doing that. I told my kindergarten Sunday school teacher that I could teach the Noah story better than her because I'd heard it so many times. She challenged me to do it and I have to say, I ruled the flannel board that day. By the end she had to admit I was right.
Great day for Riley, tough day for BA. Keep us posted. I know he'll do great!

Our last one started kindergarten this week. She's our baby and she's gone everyday. But without a doubt, she LOVES it. Now we officially have a kindergartner, second grader and a fourth grader. I suddenly have an urge to watch Fiddler on the Roof.

What a great day! He looks like a stud. when we dropped Taylor off for her first day of kindergarten last year, it was not easy for me.....she was fine, but I was a wreck......and Karen too.

No tears this year.......just a little lump in the throat.

WHat a blessing that you can go to school and work a the same place and share in that.
