Dear People at Sonic,

I want to thank you for your excellent marketing and advertising department.I love your commercials. I am one to get remote control happy during commercials. I will flip. During your commercials, I will not. They make me laugh. They are well done. The ones you ran with the two guys sitting in the car were excellent. The guys were hilarious. The ones you are running now with the married couple are good but not quite to the level of the others. Please bring those back. Keep up the excellent writing and advertising. It keeps me going to get Cherry Limeades. Thank you for listening.

    Those ads remind me of conversations we might have. I like them too and what would summer be without cherry limeades?

    I love the more recent ones with the guys in the car--especially the one where the dumber guy says something like...you can shake your head all you want..." and also the other one where he's trying to convince the smarter one that 5 years of high school was completely normal and that his friend must have been on the advanced program to get out in 4. Good stuff.

    BST pushes buzzer...

    Sonic: may I take your order?

    BST: Yes, I'd like some cheese sticks WITH RANCH...not merinera, ranch. And a cherry limeade slush.

    Sonic: I'm sorry, our slush machine is broken.

    BST: OK, I'll just have a diet coke and the RANCH with cheese sticks (see, I tried turning it around and really ordering ranch with a side of cheese sticks)

    Sonic: Ok, that's a medium diet coke, and order of cheese sticks with merinera.

    BST: No-I was wanting ranch. Can you send ranch instead?

    Sonic: No problem.

    time passes.

    Sonic skates up: Here's your order!

    BST: There's no ranch. Can I please have some ranch?

    Sonic: Did you order ranch?

    BST: Yeah, several times. Sorry, this always happens to me.

    Sonic: No problem, I'll grab you some ranch.

    Love Sonic. Love ranch. What's so hard about RANCH???
