Airline

I guess I can consider myself a reality TV junkie. I can get caught up in the hype. There is one particular show that catches my interest when I have been able to watch and episode or two. AIRLINE on the A&E network is fascinating. This show follows people and their travel experiences on Southwest Airlines in airports across the country. I do find it entertaining to "people watch" at airports. AIRLINE gives you an ability to "people watch" from home. It is amazing to watch how people communicate and deal with conflict as they travel. Watching the passengers not be able to fly because of their behavior or drinking, and then seeing how they conduct themselves makes for some entertaining television. To also watch how the employees of Southwest Airlines react and deal with their customers is interesting. Customer service is a challenging part of many jobs and that is clearly evident on this show.

Give the show a try. I am not sure what the exact night and time is when the show airs, but it is worth looking for and watching. All reality TV is not that bad.

I am NOT a reality TV junkie. In fact, I avoid it if at all possible. The reason is two fold. First of all, a lot of it is simply crap. Secondly, the stuff that is not crap sucks me in and I feel like I can't miss it. This wreaks havoc on my obsessive compulsive tendancies and I already watch too much TV anyway. That said, I love Airline! I stayed up until midnight last night watching it. The stories don't carry over to the next episode, so each show stands alone and it is fascinating! I wish Doggett would get a job in customer relations with Southwest Airlines. Airline would become the biggest television hit in the history of history!

HAAAAAAAAAA! So true! However, Doggett's holding out for the customer relations job with Po' Folks.

I, on the other hand, LOVE reality TV. Maybe it's because I don't already have enough weird things happening in my life to keep me entertained. Wait, no that can't be it. Maybe it's because I secretly want to be on one of those shows? Maybe I'll pitch a reality ministry show to the TBN network. Rated PG13, of course.

I like the same kind of reality TV as I like any entertainment: Interesting, not lewd, makes you think, connects with me emotionally.

Sounds like I'd like Airline. Now that other 'must watch TV' is over, is its season continuing?
