A Little Holy Confidence

Does anyone really care about the NHL season? I am not a big hockey fan but will go to a game when I get free tickets. I have not followed the news very closely about the NHL labor negotiations, but I have heard enough to realize it is a beating. They are arguing over millions of dollars. They are fighting about salary caps. It is ridiculous to "normal hard-working America" to sit back and watch this battle over power and money take place.

I am looking forward to a 3-day weekend coming up. We are going to Abilene to see Brandon and Sheryl. Zoe is leading worship and we look forward to being with them. Having an extra day to spend with the family will be good for all of us.

I found this blessing from Psalm to share with you:

May the Lord answer you today
when you're in distress.
May God's power protect you,
and may His names--"Refuge", "Provider", "Almighty"--
infuse you with holy confidence.
May His angel warriors guard you,
and may the prayers of his people surround you.
May He grant your heart's desire
And make all your plans succeed.

Have a great day.
