Bunk Beds
We recently transitioned the boys to bunk beds. Riley was in a twin and Owen was in a crib but now their room has a set of bunk beds. The excitement on Riley's part was evident when we told him we were putting bunk beds in their rooms. He has slept on the top bunk a couple of times in the last year so he was ready to sleep on the top bunk for good.
We also went with a new theme in their room as well. The decor has shifted from Cowboys to Cars/Racing. New signs and pit boards are on the walls. New comforters and sheets that have Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater on them. New curtains and other racing motif. I am excited and like their new room as much as they do.
Seeing Owen switch from a crib to a regular bed has been interesting. He loves it and has done well with the change. It is strange for me to go in their room after they are asleep and see little Owen in his big bed. They do grow up...

you are so brave with bunk beds. I want them, but we sleepwalk, run, escape the house in our sleep. That is just too much at our house. I am jealous.
