Six Flags
We took Riley to Six Flags yesterday. It was his first time to go to Six Flags or any amusement park. The following are some thoughts regarding our time at Six Flags:
* The smile on Riley's face during rides was a beautiful sight.
* Why do people want to walk towards others and refuse to get out of the way?
* The Superman ride is a huge rush!
* Why can I freefall from 250 feet and feel fine and then ride the El Sombrero and feel like I am going to puke?
* We bought season passes so we can go back and it really not a bad deal.
* I wish Brandon Scott Thomas was still doing the country show at the Crazy Horse Saloon.
* Did I act like the 12-16 year old kids that we saw yesterday? I hope not.
* The longest line we stood in all day was to get our picture taken for our season pass.
* The Titan is one fast rollercoaster. I don't know much about G forces but I think I feel them when I ride it.
* We went to the top of the orange tower and Beth Ann would not let go of Riley on the elevator or while we were on the observation deck.
* Riley loved the Shockwave and going upside down.
* Riley won his first stuffed animal playing games. I also on a basketball (I am a sucker for the games).
* The smell of funnel cakes and cotton candy is wonderful.
* The joy that Riley experienced made the day complete.

My Own Thoughts on The Flags
I never go to Six Flags when the temperature is below 100 degrees because my favorite part is seeing over weight, middle age women in tube tops and daisy dukes trying to eat their frozen treats before they melt and run down their arms.
I dropped a penny off of the orange tower one time and was banned from coming back up.
I went to the flags one time with you when we were just out of college and you were substitute teaching and we ran into kids from your school calling you "Mr. Fisher" and I thought that sounded so strange.
BST rocked in make-up and sequins!

Six Flags is great, especially with kids. Just wait until Riley's favorite ride is no longer the Shock Wave but the Cave. I love it, but even the merry-go-round makes me sick now. I still ride everything, though.
