Sports Day

We are having Sports Day at Southwest Christian today. This day provides the kids an opportunity to dress in sports clothes. Since our students wear uniforms, today allows them to be a little different. I love seeing their individuality in what they choose to wear. Favorite college sweatshirts, football jerseys, skateboard shirts, cheerleading outfits, soccer uniforms, basketball shirts. The students love these special days. It also gives them an opportunity to see their teachers participate and have fun as well. Having fun is truly a very important component at an elementary school, or at least it should be. I love to see our students smiling and enjoying being at school.
