The Five People You Meet At SCS
I am so blessed to have the opportunity to work with numerous incredible people at Southwest Christian School. God has placed some awesome people at SCS to impact the lives of our students. While they have done that, they have been influential to me in professional and personal ways. It is great to feel God's blessings through other people. Satan can try to infiltrate our relationships and ruin them, especially at a Christian school. We must make valiant efforts to keep our relationships strong by being centered on God. I am thankful for people like:
Linda Cervas: my assistant at SCS. She is one of the most positive people that I have ever been around. She witnessed to so many during her bout with cancer. Her love for the Lord is real and powerful. She is an example of a wonderful, Godly mother too.
James Lineman: our maintenance employee at SCS. He is a loyal man that is an unbelievable dedicated worker. He gives 110% all the time. He does whatever is presented to him and he does it with a great attitude. He is always focused on doing what is right and taking care of those around him.
Denise Dunlap: a 5th grade teacher. She is a Godly woman. She has a super family with an awesome husband and three great kids. Her husband has a even started a ministry to keep me smiling and laughing. She is trustworthy. Denise loves and cares for her students. She is a person that blesses my life each day.
Melinda Maninger: a 3rd grade teacher. Melinda is an excellent educator that is devoted to Christian education. Through some very tough times I have seen Melinda rely on the Lord and allow Him to guide her. She always has a wonderful attitude and carries a positive spirit in everything she does.
Scott Barron: the president of SCS. Scott is a strong leader. He is a man I can watch and learn from. His modeling and our conversations afford me the opportunity to learn lessons that enhance my life . He is the strongest believer that I have encountered. He teaches, guides, supports, mentors and pastors me. He has been a blessing to SCS.
There are others that I will write about at a different time. Working with these great people plus many others. How lucky does that make me?

Yea! Go, BA! Hey--will we get to see you guys in Abilene? I hope so. I miss you terribly. Grab Stephen and Steph and come out!
Craig- I know what an impact a Godly principal can have. Still, almost 14 years after my father's death, people write and tell us what he meant in their lives. You are making such an impact. Beth Ann is right. Keep it up. I am so proud to call you my brother!
