Bathroom issues
As I have frequented many bathrooms with my boys recently, some questions and thoughts about bathrooms have come to mind.
Why do have to go through two doors to get into some bathrooms? Does the second door provide more privacy? It seems like a waste of space to me. Does a bathroom need an entryway? Was it a trend years ago and now they are not building bathrooms with two doors?
Shouldn't there be privacy walls between urinals?
Have you ever been to an old football stadium where they did not put urinals on the wall? Instead they put in one large trough or even just a large section down a wall where everyone goes to the bathroom? Very uncomfortable.
There is a man that comes and puts deodorizer in our bathrooms at school. When he comes it smells like a large stick of Juicy Fruit gum. I think it smells good.
Why do boys have such a hard time hitting the urinal?
Do you prefer to dry your hands with paper towels or a blow dry machine?
Have you been in a public restroom with a person talking on their cell phone and using the restroom at the same time? Would that be considered rude?
Are female restrooms generally cleaner than male restrooms? Smell better?
Any thoughts, please respond!

I started to comment on this yesterday, but I didn't even know where to start. I'm still somewhat speechless today. Let me just say that the trough idea in the old stadiums is just wrong. It's an invitation to children to play in it, an invitation to loud mouths to hold court by it and an invitation to shy people to hold it until they get home. Simply wrong.

why should you need a restroom when there's a perfectly good alley or sidewalk?

Word to the wise- Don't try those giant pink mints in public restrooms. I'll never make that mistake again.

I am a fan of the entry way for a bathroom and here is why...Richland Hills C of C doesn't have them so if there is a really long line (which sometimes happens) then people prop the door open and stand in line out the door. It grosses me out, I do not want to be outside the bathroom and hear a toilet flush. If there were a second doorway people would not be as inclined to prop open the doors. So Viva La Entryway!!

I'm all about the paper, I keep the paper in my hand after I am done with it to open the door with, then throuw it away in an outside trash can. Using the bathroom and talking on the cell phone is just gross, taking care of your bathroom business then touching your cell phone, then back to the bathroom business...your mouth is right there close to the phone...I don't know something about it is just gross. Those smells in the bathroom can sometime be overpowering, not that people going to the bathroom and taking care of business is not sometimes over powering, but the has got to be a happy medium.
