Abilene thoughts
We are loving our new house. Beth Ann has it feeling like a home.
Barbecue restaurants are a plenty here.
We took the boys to the Paramount Theater for the first time. It is a historic theater in downtown Abilene.
People drive very differently in Abilene than they do in the metroplex.
Seeing our niece and nephew at ACU stuff is very cool.
We are excited about weekend visitors. Family and friends staying with us will be fun.
We miss Pei Wei.
There seem to be lots of family events in Abilene.
The West Texas Fair and Rodeo was a small town classic.
Downtown Abilene is a great place. Museums, galleries, places to eat, shops and activities for kids.
We have a found an incredible donut place and it is close to the house.
Adjusting to a new job, new home, new church, new school for the kids, etc. is crazy!

I know you are going to love Abilene. You'll have try the Towne Crier. It is pretty good steak house but not as good as Texas Road House. It is historic to ACU Students, Grads, Professors, Alum, ect. Yes, AM Donuts are incredible! Closest you can get to crispy creme.
I'll be praying for you and hope you enjoy Abilene.

:) Well, it's not Pei Wei, but give China Garden a shot. It is family owned, they've been around since I was in kindergarten (maybe before) and it is good, and not very far from your house! I reccommend c4 from the menu, but everything that I have ever had has been good. :)allison
