Walking in Memphis #2

Over spring break we took the boys and went with my mom and dad to Memphis to see family and play.

On the second day we were there Beth Ann and I were able to go downtown and hang out for a while. My parents kept the boys and we went a played for a bit. One very cool thing we did was to tour the Gibson Guitar Factory. Gibson has recently built a factory right off of Beale Street in downtown Memphis. They run 45-minute tours, so we signed up. It was awesome. They take you right through the factory where the guitars are built. We were able to see the process from beginning to end. The craftsmanship is incredible. We were both very impressed to see how the construction of guitar takes place and to realize the talent of each of those responsible for building. I don't know a thing about playing a guitar but seeing this process was inspiring.

If you ever go to Memphis or Nashville, find the Gibson Factory and take the tour.
Rock on!
