Stick-shift

I have not driven a stick-shift in years. It is probably been 8 or 9 years. You have to go back to the Z24 that I drove in college as the last standard transmission car I drove. Some of you may remember cruising around in the Z24. Fast and fun car.

Yesterday to work I drove a standard again. I was pleased that I did not stall it once on the way. It was a pretty smooth ride. I was driving the car because of some very nice people at my school. Our lease was up on one of our cars and we had to return it. That puts us down to one car until I get us a new car. I am not sure what to do and need a little time to be whipped by car salesmen. This family found out our situation and they brought over an "extra" car they have in their driveway. They told us to use it for as long as we need. What a huge blessing for us. People can be some incredible. Being Jesus to each other... what an idea!

Have a great weekend!

When you do get a car, consider the Scion Xa. Cool look, GREAT mileage, safe for a mini car... It's not the box car but its small...

Until then, how great is no payment. Our approach is to buy them, pay them off, and drive them until the wheels fall off!

How bout a 1982 Aqua Marine colored Ford Winstar Minivan? I think it would be a nice fit. You could call it "Big Aqua".
